ARIZONA REALTORS® HOUSING NEEDS FOUNDATION


The Foundation’s Mission
To raise and receive funds on behalf of local AAR associations and to provide charitable support to Arizona communities in establishing housing projects. Housing needs projects will be efforts and programs that address the condition of, access to, and availability of housing.

In 2007, the Foundation provided $44,750 in funds for housing-related programs. $30,000 was for six Habitat Challenge funds to local associations; $10,000 was for two forgivable loans in the AAR Employer-Assisted Housing program, and $4750 was for HomeWords Essay Contest Awards.

Local associations can also apply to the Foundation for funds for their own housing programs. An application can be found here: www.aarhnf.com/LocalAssociation/

Funds can only be requested from local REALTOR® associations. A request form can be found here.
